Today, about 240 million people are malnourished. In order to ensure food and nutrition security, we must triple agricultural production. AWAA is here to support African women in arts and agriculture with the funding needed to bring changes to the current situation.
01
Advocacy

We use our network to:
-Be the voice of women and promote their roles in the agricultural sector
-Formulate inclusive policies for women to participate in Africa’s economic transformation
-Organize round tables and debates
-Communicate to improve the image and perception of women in agriculture.

02
Access to education

We empower women by providing: Training along the agricultural value chain
- Access to technology and information
- Increased mechanization
- Capacity building to meet national and international standards
- Access to affordable input.

03
Access to Finance

We facilitate access to financial services and credit by finding creative ways to mobilize funds to support African women to finance infrastructure, equipment, projects and guarantee access to credit.

04
Access to market

We help facilitate market access and improve competitiveness in local and international markets by:
- Improving the marketing and promotion of value-added products
- Facilitating market access through proper labeling and structured marketing
- Providing advice to women on standardization, improving quality in order to access global markets.

Different

Experience

With the biggest charity funds so far, we still haven’t made enough change to the life of the African woman. AWAA brings another method of offering assistance.

Awaa is a network of women in the agricultural sector and influencers dedicated to empowering women in agriculture, especially in rural areas, enabling them to become self-reliant, productive and competitive
